I fished the hour before sunrise and found one sheltered dock with a hungry snook. Trolling motor helped get him away from the dock for a fair fight. |

We didn't catch anything in AM, after meeting for lunch we drove the boat back to the Gandy bridge ramp. En route a pod of white bait were spotted, and we decided to drift through, that drift saved the day we caught a trout, 1 mackerel, and the best being a bonnet head shark 33" long! |

All day float trip down the Madison river with guide also named Andy, arranged through Jacklin's Fly Shop in West Yellowstone. A wonderful trip with a very professional guide. Not only did we have a great time fishing, our guide took the time to teach us about the various insects and larva the flies were imitating. We could have caught a lot more fish if we had been quicker at setting the hook. |

Pat Damico's article on dock lights got me excited and I went out at 5:00 a.m. and caught a snook by 5:20! Ron Whiteley's program helped. |
